Reminds me of the beaches in Ecuador. The emptiness and space is very calming and peaceful. Of course I was drawn to this because of the puppy. :D The placement of the objects in the image are very balanced and easy on the eye. -Enjoy your Summer!!
This picture reminds me of being on the beach when the summer is about to be over. The blue water makes me want to go swimming, the sand makes me feel relaxed, and the puppy is making me feel like as lonely as this beach is, i still have a friend with me. I love how calming and relaxing this picture makes me feel. When I look away I remember the emptiness of the beach, makes me feel like I need a time out and go to a beach to relax.
I see and mostly empty beach with a far off life guard chair and dog who's close to us and is looking of into the distance. Whats most striking is the vibrant blue of the water and the definite sense of movement there. The water is clearly in constant motion while we are motionless on the sand. It reminds me of pausing and watching life move all around us or the cliche letting life past you by. Or maybe its about looking off into the turbulent and constantly changing future and seeing where we fit in. This makes me feel peaceful and unsettled at the same time. When I look I remember the very blue of the water in the distance and how we are removed from it.

I remember my dog was really freaked out when I first took him to the beach but eventually really enjoyed himself with the feeling of the sand. The beach seems really calm and empty, feels really quiet without any disturbance; it makes me feel peaceful and relaxed with the company of not a person but a dog. When I look away, i remember the dog looking at the beach.
